  • Roles and responsibilities of the first-aider

  • Incident management

  • The unconscious casualty - Fainting - Seizure - Recovery position

  • CPR and safe use of the AED

  • Choking

  • Minor injuries, severe bleeding and treatment for shock (with bandaging practice)

  • Burns

ASSESSMENT

Continuous by your trainer. Formal practical assessments and a
written assessment will form part of the Ofqual-regulated
version of this course.
