  • Roles and responsibilities of the first-aider, including communication and casualty care, the accident form, first aid kits and infection control

  • Incident management

  • The unconscious casualty - Fainting - Seizure - recovery position

  • Adult, child and infant CPR demonstrations with safe use of the AED on an adult manikin

  • Choking

  • Brief overview of the following subjects: - Bleeding and shock - Anaphylaxis - Asthma - Bone, muscle and joint injuries - Head and spinal injuries

  • Paediatric question and answer session
